The Roomie Glide is available to purchase from John Lewis for PS160, which Roanna thought was a reasonable price for a cot featuring such innovative features. She liked the way it was positioned in her bedroom and thought its gray color would be appropriate for the majority of modern homes. She also mentioned that it's not a good idea to rock a baby when it's younger as it can cause an unhealthy sleep pattern that can be difficult to overcome later.
The Tutti Bambini CoZee
The Tutti Bambini CoZee is an award-winning crib for bed designed with a safe night's sleep in mind. It has a drop-side rail that is easily lowered for nighttime feeds without having to disturb your baby or get out of bed - it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also light and easy to move around during naps or for travel.
It's made from soft materials and has breathable mesh sides to promote airflow. It's available in charcoal and oak and has a variety of melange fabrics that work well with a variety of decor styles. Anna found it sturdy and secure when affixed to her bed with the legs firmly snapping into the bed and the zips secured for baby-safety. It took her around 10 minutes to put together and didn't require tools, with clear instructions and a video or support contact number should you run into any problems.
The CoZee crib is equipped with all the features you'd expect from a crib to your bed, including the ability to attach it to your bed using a stay-in-place connection system. It also comes with six height settings. Additionally it has an inclines feature that can be used to aid infants suffering from reflux or congestion. It can also be washed in the machine and is a must for all the spills and vomit that can be found in a newborn baby!
The CoZee is a great option if you want to keep your child close during the first six months of learning to fall asleep independently. It can be used as a changing station, cot or toddler bed. It can also be transformed into a sofa bed by the addition of an extension pack. While it won't magically put your baby to sleep or feed them, it will rock them and send them off.
The Chicco Next2Me Magic
This is one of the more expensive options, however it has a wide array of features. It's designed as an individual side sleeper or standalone crib, and is suitable from birth to six months. It's easy to open and close the side panel using the new mechanism. It's also more adjustable than the predecessor, with 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure installation underneath any bed.
Our testers were impressed by the ease of access provided by the side panel, that can be moved up and down with one click of a switch. This was particularly helpful at night, as they could reach inside and pick their baby up without waking them.
It is possible to lower the side panel itself but this is not recommended since it increases the likelihood that your child could be thrown out of the cot.
